The most critical part of a child’s day begins after the final bell rings. Bornblum offers a wide variety of After-School Activities for every age group. Our goal is for your child to have the opportunity to participate in project-based activities, get physical exercise, and work on homework assignments. Our engaging activities are designed for kids to extend their learning to improve or enhance skills, knowledge, and well-being. These vary each quarter and year based on student interest and availability.
First Period After-School Activities are from 3:30 PM through 4:30 PM Mondays through Thursdays with the exception of Cross-Country which runs from 3:30 PM through 5:00 PM and Spanish which runs from 3:30 PM through 4:15 PM. Students enrolled in Cross-Country are expected to attend two practices per week. Third through Fifth Grade Cross Country students will practice on Mondays & Wednesdays and Middle School students will be Tuesdays & Thursdays.
Second Period After-School Activities run from 4:30 PM through 5:30 PM. Students who enroll in a second period club have the option to sign up for a first period club or attend Aftercare program from 3:30 PM through 4:30 PM. In this session, students will have the opportunity to complete their homework assignments prior to attending their extracurricular activity for no additional cost.
After-School Activities do not operate on half days or during parent-teacher conferences. Students who are signed up for a First Period After-School Activity may attend Aftercare that afternoon for no additional fee. After-School Activities are subject to change based on enrollment.

Bornblum Aftercare
Aftercare operates from 3:30 PM through 5:30 PM Mondays through Thursdays. After 5:30 pm, late fees apply. Aftercare does not operate on half days or during parent-teacher conferences.
Our flexible Aftercare program is designed for children who will occasionally stay after school to those children who require daily after-school care. Children are given an opportunity to do their homework in a quiet atmosphere, play outdoors (weather permitting), and play games once their homework is completed. A snack is provided daily.
We offer a drop-in program for those who need last-minute aftercare. Please email the front office by 2 PM if your child needs to stay for aftercare that day to avoid confusion at dismissal.
