Mr. Scott Ostrow serves as Director of Strategic Communication, Admissions, and Development. Though he joined the professional staff in the spring of 2015, he has been involved at Bornblum for more than 20 years, serving a song leader, substitute teacher, volunteer, parent, and member of the Board of Directors.
Before joining the Bornblum staff, Mr. Ostrow was a practicing attorney for 15 years. Prior to becoming an attorney, he worked in the Jewish community as the Hillel Director at the University of Memphis and he was a Program Director at Hillel of Greater Philadelphia, responsible for Jewish life programing at 13 commuter campuses throughout Philadelphia.
Mr. Ostrow holds a J.D. from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, as well as an MS in Community Agency Counseling, also from the University of Memphis. He holds a BA with Honors in English Literature from Rhodes College.
Mr. Ostrow is married to Shelly and has three children, Sophie, Isaac, and Eli. Sophie and Isaac are both Bornblum graduates and Eli will graduate this year.
